Efficient UMass guard with sharp shooting touch and veteran basketball instincts
Kaylie Schiavetta is a 5-7 guard from Northport, N.Y., who brings proven perimeter shooting and playmaking feel to UMass; in her college career, Sports-Reference lists her at 1.7 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 41.7% from three across 24 games, while UMass has also noted her earlier high-school production as a 23.5-point, 7.0-assist scorer. Her value goes beyond the box score: she’s a compact, experienced guard with a reputation for toughness, floor leadership, and a scorer’s confidence, which makes her a useful fit for a team needing backcourt steadiness and shot-making.
