Seth Ellis brings veteran DB toughness to Lamar
Seth Ellis is a seasoned defensive back for Lamar, and in the 2015 season he showed up as a physical, reliable presence with 62 tackles on the year, including 49 solo stops, plus a nine-tackle game with two tackles for loss against Stephen F. Austin in October 2015. He fits the profile of a tone-setting defender: experienced, assignment-sound, and willing to do the dirty work in run support. If your team wants a DB who plays with edge and production rather than flash, Ellis is the kind of steady, contact-ready piece that coaches tend to love.
