Army DL Jacob Drozd: a disruptive edge-setter with proven playmaking instincts
Jacob Drozd’s Army profile shows a high-motor defensive lineman who has already flashed real playmaking juice, including 18 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble in the 2011 season. His high-school résumé was loaded too: multi-sport captain, two-time all-state pick at defensive end, and a state champion, which points to toughness, leadership and athletic versatility. If you want a trench player who brings intensity, effort and a knack for impact plays rather than just empty size, Drozd is the kind of fit coaches tend to love.
