Experienced Drake post player with strong defensive value and a team-first edge
In the 2014-15 season, Cara Lutes brought Drake a reliable frontcourt presence: a 6-foot-2 forward/center who could rebound, protect the rim, and give quality minutes off the bench, including a career-high 10 rebounds in one game and 3 blocks in a postseason matchup. Her differentiators were toughness, versatility, and intangibles—she also earned MVC Leadership & Service recognition, which points to a high-character, high-motor fit for a team that values defense, effort, and maturity over flash.
