McNeese Cowboys’ Intense, Leader-First Safety with NFL Pedigree
Darrick Brown, a 6-4, 200-lb safety for McNeese State, stands out not just for his size and speed (6.49s in 55-yard dash, 2.03m high jump in 2008) but for his relentless intensity and leadership. As a former NFL Oakland Raider and current youth football character curriculum co-creator, Brown brings a rare blend of professional experience and mentorship. His personality—described as a great coach, father, and leader of young men—makes him a perfect fit for teams valuing culture and intensity. No major injury history is noted, and his data-driven mindset ensures he adapts quickly. If you need a safety who elevates both performance and team culture, Brown is your ideal candidate.
