Elon’s Steals-and-Spacing Guard With Program-Record Pop
Scottie Rice profiles as a disruptive, high-upside guard who made his mark at Elon with elite ball pressure, quick hands, and real shooting gravity. In the 2005-06 season, he was one of Elon’s most efficient multi-category playmakers, finishing as the program’s all-time steals leader and a top-three career three-point shooter by made threes—rare combo juice for a guard. What separates him is how his defensive instincts and perimeter confidence translated into game-changing possessions, not just box-score points. He’s the kind of guard you want if you value toughness, pace, and momentum swings.
