Dazzie Morris brings BCU a high-upside, defense-first guard/wing profile
Morris is a former five-star recruit who gives Bethune-Cookman a proven shot-creator with real defensive upside, and his 21-point showing in a 101-60 win over Coastal Georgia showed he can take over stretches when he’s locked in. After averaging 11.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals at South Plains, he arrives as an athletic, disruptive defender with a scorer’s mindset; the main question is consistency after injuries slowed his 2024-25 season, but if he stays healthy he looks like a strong fit for a team that wants impact, intensity, and upside on the perimeter.
