Trey Edwards brings freshman DB upside and local-talent grit to Robert Morris
Trey Edwards is a 2026 freshman defensive back for Robert Morris, listed at 5-11, 175, and came out of Steel Valley after helping the team to a 10-2 mark. The available roster profile doesn’t show college stats yet, so the story here is projection: a hometown defender with a compact frame, likely toughness, and developmental upside rather than a finished product. For a team, he’s the kind of player worth monitoring if you want length, buy-in, and a chip-on-the-shoulder competitor who can grow into special teams or depth duty.
