Reliable, Physical Linebacker Presence for Richmond
Ryan Sweeney profiles as a hard-nosed, assignment-sound linebacker whose value is built on physicality, toughness, and steadiness rather than flashy production. I could not verify current Richmond-specific stat-leader or ranking data from the provided sources, so this is a fit-and-role read rather than a numbers-driven evaluation. If Richmond needs a dependable defender who brings intensity, plays with a straight-line mentality, and can handle contact without much drama, he looks like the kind of athlete who can raise the floor of a defense.
