Long, lean UMass tight end with NFL-sized frame
Sharif Custis is a 6-foot-4, 207-pound redshirt sophomore tight end for Massachusetts who brings a prototype frame and developmental upside to the Minutemen’s offense[1]. In his earlier UMass stint, he posted 6 catches for 67 yards in the 2015 season, showing modest production but enough receiving feel to hint at matchup value when paired with his size[2]. The intrigue is less about box-score fireworks and more about whether he can grow into a reliable in-line presence and red-zone target. He’s a reasonable fit for a team that wants a project with length, athletic upside, and room to bulk up[1][2].
