Young SJSU DL with real high-school production, but no college game tape yet
In the 2024 season at Carlsbad High, Colton Thomas flashed as a disruptive defensive lineman with 54 tackles, 11 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, and 17 QB hurries, which explains why San Jose State brought him in as a development prospect. He arrived at SJSU with a strong motor, proven pass-rush production, and award-level recognition, but his college résumé is still thin because he did not appear in a game in his first season with the Spartans. If your team wants an ascending, high-upside DL with edge and work ethic, he’s intriguing; if you need an immediate-impact veteran, he’s still more projection than proof.
