Michael Benn brings bruising depth and academic edge to A&T’s backfield
Michael Benn is a power-first fullback/H-back for North Carolina A&T who arrived via Mt. San Antonio College and was listed at 5-foot-10, 230 pounds in the 2023 season; A&T described him as bringing “impact” at the H-back spot. In his 2022 Mt. SAC season, he played in six games and produced 27 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries, plus one catch for seven yards. His fit is clear: he’s a physical, low-drama blocker with enough juice as a runner to punish defenses, and he also earned CAA academic honors in 2024—always a nice sign of discipline and buy-in.
