steady Texas long snapper with veteran polish
Alex Zumberge is listed by Texas and ESPN as a senior long snapper/DS for the Longhorns, bringing veteran continuity rather than flash to special teams[1][2]. His differentiator is reliability: Texas’ roster notes show he’s been around the program for years, while historical depth-chart references place him in the special-teams snap role during Texas games, a job where clean operation and trust matter more than box-score stats[2][5]. If you want a low-drama, high-dependability specialist with experience in a pressure-packed role, he fits the profile nicely[2][7].
