Explosive pass-rush specialist with rising sack production
Will McDonald IV is a long, athletic edge rusher whose value is tied to burst, bend, and finishing ability as a pass rusher; in the 2024 NFL season he posted 10.5 sacks and 3 passes defended, showing real impact as a disruptor rather than just a depth piece.[9] At Iowa State, he built a reputation as a high-motor, speed-to-power defender who can stress tackles off the edge, and his frame suggests room to keep adding strength without losing quickness.[8] If your team wants a pressure creator with upside, he fits; if you need a run-stuffing, every-down power end right now, that is not his cleanest calling card.[2][9]
