ETSU Redshirt Freshman RHP Stratton Scott: High-Velocity Bullpen Closer with 86+ MPH Fastball and 3-6 Record
Stratton Scott, a 6'2", 190-lb redshirt freshman RHP for East Tennessee State, stands out as a high-intensity bullpen specialist who has flashed an 86.8 mph fastball and a 72 rpm spin-rate curveball, earning trust in critical late-inning roles like his 9th-inning shutdown against Farragut [1][5][9]. Though his 2026 season ERA sits at 5.67 with a 3-6 win-loss record, his differentiator is his explosive velocity growth (+14 mph since high school) and clutch composure, not just raw stats [5][7]. He’s a high-upside fit for teams needing a power arm who can handle pressure, with no reported injury history and a reputation for relentless intensity [1][8].
