Val Gomez brings veteran guard toughness and a defensive edge to Lafayette
Val Gomez is a mature, experienced guard who can help a team with toughness, rebounding from the perimeter, and disruptive defense, with a profile that suggests hustle and physicality rather than high-usage scoring[1][2]. Her listed college roster at Lafayette confirms the current team context, while her most recent stat profile shows a low-volume, role-oriented player whose value is likely in effort, positioning, and intangibles more than box-score production[1][2]. If you want a guard who adds grit, stability, and on-ball pressure, she is the kind of fit coaches often trust in short stretches and defensive assignments[1][2].
