Lucas Webb is a ball-hawking Chattanooga safety with historic playmaking upside
Lucas Webb’s Chattanooga resume is elite: he was the program’s first four-time first-team All-SoCon selection, finished with 13 career interceptions (school record tie), four pick-sixes (SoCon record), and 272 interception-return yards (school record). In the 2026 offseason coverage, he’s still the name people use as the standard for Mocs defensive backs because of his instinctive coverage, turnover magnet reputation, and game-changing explosiveness. If you want a DB who can flip field position and deliver instant juice, Webb is the prototype.
