Savannah State DL Timothy Wright brings size and inside leverage
Timothy Wright is listed on Savannah State’s 2026 roster as a 6-4, 295-pound junior defensive lineman from Augusta, Ga., which gives him the kind of frame coaches love for holding gaps and clogging running lanes[1]. The biggest takeaway is the measurables: he looks built to anchor the middle, play physical football, and eat blocks rather than chase splashy stat lines[1]. There isn’t enough public production data here to fairly grade his current season impact, so the real appeal is his size, positional value, and developmental upside for a defense needing sturdy interior help[1].
