Steady-Handed WR with Akron Pedigree Now Thriving at EKU
Stephon Fuqua, a 6-1, 200-pound senior wide receiver for the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, boasts career NCAA stats of 53 receptions for 690 yards (13.0 avg) and zero TDs, building on his Akron days where he posted 20 catches for 155 yards in 2007. His differentiator is reliable hands and physicality from Cleveland's Glenville HS powerhouse, making him a possession receiver who excels in traffic—perfect for teams needing a savvy slot option without flash. No injury red flags; he's a low-risk, high-floor fit for FCS contenders or developmental NFL squads chasing gritty production.
