Illinois State’s tackling machine with elite academic pedigree
Waugh was a four-year starter at linebacker for Illinois State and finished his career with 320 tackles, including 101 as a junior and 83 as a senior, plus First Team Academic All-American honors twice and three straight First Team All-MVFC selections[1][3]. His calling cards were reliability, production, and football IQ: he started every game, played with high motor, and paired on-field consistency with a perfect 4.0 GPA and major academic recognition[1][2]. If you want a dependable, assignment-sound linebacker with leadership and relentless effort, Waugh is the real deal.
