Santa Clara’s all-time rim protector and efficient interior force
Annie Garrison stands out as a bruising, high-IQ center whose calling cards were elite shot-blocking, efficient finishing, and reliable rebounding; in the 2000-01 season, she averaged 15.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game while setting Santa Clara’s career blocks record at 160 and shooting 54.3% from the field. She was a three-time first-team All-WCC selection, a team captain, and a proven big-game presence, which makes her the kind of glue-in-the-middle player every coach loves: tough, productive, and hard to replace.
