Brendan MacPhee brings Yale a seasoned, versatile linebacker profile
Brendan MacPhee is a **6'1", 211-pound** Yale linebacker whose value comes from versatility, special-teams experience, and a history of earning trust in the program rather than piling up flashy counting stats. Yale’s roster notes show he played linebacker and special teams in 2018 after earlier backup duty at defensive back, which suggests a flexible, assignment-sound defender who can fit multiple roles[3][4]. His reported injury-limited 2018 season is worth noting, but when healthy he projects as a dependable, physical depth piece for a defense that needs toughness and reliability[3].
