Portland State’s physical, role-ready linebacker
Ronald Hampton is a Portland State linebacker who profiles as a tough, assignment-driven defender with the kind of presence teams value in the middle of a defense. Publicly available information on his college production is limited, so the best read is from his role and position fit: he looks like a depth-and-development linebacker whose value comes from physicality, gap discipline, and special-teams upside rather than headline stats. If you want a player who can bring energy, hit with intent, and compete for snaps in a blue-collar system, Hampton is worth a closer look.
