Matt McIntosh is a veteran Minnesota OT with coach-trust upside
McIntosh is a senior offensive tackle for Minnesota in the 2026 season, giving the Gophers a seasoned, in-program presence up front rather than a flashy stat-sheet guy[1]. His appeal is reliability: tackle play is about leverage, consistency, and pass-protection poise, and a senior at this spot usually brings better play strength, communication, and fewer mental busts than younger options. He’s the kind of fit a team wants if it values stability, toughness, and a low-drama trench worker who can hold his ground and keep the offense on schedule[1].
