Veteran UT Martin Guard with Elite Freshman Scoring and International Experience
Jalen Riley, a 6'0" point guard for UT Martin Skyhawks, is a high-impact differentiator whose 2019-20 freshman season saw him average 9.7 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 42.9% from three [6]. Though his recent college stats appear modest (1.1 PPG in 2019-20) [4], his true value lies in his veteran intensity and extensive international career across Greece, Portugal, and Israel, where he averaged 13.8 PPG in the 2025-26 season [1][2]. Riley's differentiators include a fearless shooting mentality, proven adaptability to global styles, and a personality that elevates team defense through relentless ball pressure. He is an ideal fit for teams needing a seasoned, high-motor guard who can score efficiently and mentor younger players, though his age (born 1993) [2] suggests he is a short-term leadership asset rather than a long-term developmental prospect.
