Experienced Butler guard who brought steady minutes, defense, and veteran poise
Vanzant was a reliable, high-IQ guard for Butler, appearing in 138 games over four seasons and logging nearly 29 minutes per game as a senior, which signals trust from the staff and real on-court dependability. He profiles as a steady floor general rather than a high-volume scorer, with the kind of toughness, composure, and defensive effort that help a team stay organized in pressure moments. His current basketball value is strongest as a culture piece, leader, and stabilizer for a roster that needs maturity and consistency.
