veteran Southern guard with steady playmaking instincts
Tiamya Butler is listed on Southern’s women’s basketball roster and has long been part of the Jaguars’ guard rotation, where her value is more about poise, ball movement, and doing the little stuff than flashy scoring. In Southern’s 2017 opener against Indiana, she logged 15 minutes with 5 assists and 2 rebounds, a nice snapshot of a guard who can organize an offense and keep possessions clean. If you want a steady connector who brings experience and composure, Butler fits the bill; if you need a high-usage shot-creator, she’s probably not the headline act.
