Compact Texas Tech RB with Elite Power and 4.58 Speed
Blake Bedwell is a 5'10", 185-lb running back for Texas Tech who differentiates himself with a rare blend of elite lower-body power (365-lb bench) and explosive speed (4.58 40-yard dash), making him a high-intensity, between-the-tackles threat despite limited college production (6 carries, 24 yards in 2022) [1][3][9]. While he hasn't yet become a stat leader due to appearing in only two games as a sophomore and later transferring to SMU, his physical profile and versatility (also listed as MLB) suggest he's a high-upside fit for teams needing a physical, change-of-pulse back who can handle heavy contact [4][9]. His Amarillo, TX roots and social media focus on discipline hint at a serious, team-first personality, though injury or depth-chart history has kept his on-field impact minimal so far [3][10].
