efficient, undersized-engine churning out steady two-way value for SIU
In the 2024-25 season, Angela Tolbert averaged 7.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.7 steals per game for Southern Illinois, with a career line showing 27 games played and 38.5% shooting from the field.[1][2] She’s the kind of guard-forward who brings steady production, a willingness to defend, and enough versatility to help a lineup without needing the offense built around her.[1][2] The catch: her scoring has been efficient but not explosive, so she profiles best as a reliable complementary piece rather than a volume star.[1][2]
