A seasoned UCSB guard with efficient scoring and steady two-way value
Ajare Sanni is a 6'3" guard who gave UC Santa Barbara reliable backcourt production, appearing in 72 games and making 42 starts from 2020 to 2023; in his UCSB run, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game while shooting 41.7% from the field and hitting 16 threes, which points to a composed, multi-year contributor rather than a pure volume scorer[1][2]. His appeal is fit and steadiness: he offers experience, positional size, and enough perimeter shooting to space the floor, making him a sensible add for a team that wants a mature guard who can slot into a rotation without needing the offense built around him[1][2].
