veteran Wyoming safety with big-play instincts and proven tackling pop
Halliburton made his mark at Wyoming as a high-volume, physical safety: in the 2019 season he led the Cowboys with 130 tackles, ranked 11th nationally at 10.0 tackles per game, and earned first-team All-Mountain West honors; he also produced a career-high 17 tackles and a fumble recovery in Wyoming’s 2019 opener, which helped him win Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week. His calling card is range plus reliability in run support, with enough playmaking juice to flip field position—if your defense wants an active, tone-setting veteran in the back end, he’s the kind of guy who makes offenses feel it after every snap.
