veteran Monmouth DL with a stout, high-motor profile
In the 2007 season, Vinny Fonti was penciled in as a starter at defensive end and described by Monmouth as one of the strongest players on the team, which tells you exactly why coaches trusted him: power, effort, and reliability at the point of attack[13]. His earlier Monmouth bio also shows he earned snaps as a rotational edge defender, including a 2006 season with tackles and a sack on the résumé, so he brings more than just bulk—he brings functional disruption[1][9]. If your team wants an older, battle-tested line piece with strength and experience over flash, he fits the mold[13].
