Western Kentucky's Intense DB with Elite Coverage Instincts
Brad Cloud, Western Kentucky's standout cornerback, differentiates himself through relentless intensity and preternatural coverage instincts that go beyond raw stats. In the 2025 season, he recorded 53 total tackles (35 solo), 18 assisted, 1 interception, and 0 forced fumbles, anchoring a defense that ranks 22nd nationally in passing yards per game (272.2). Cloud's differentiator is his football IQ and recovery speed, allowing him to neutralize top receivers even after initial missteps. He has no significant injury history, maintaining peak availability throughout the season. His personality traits—disciplined, competitive, and team-first—make him a perfect fit for any team seeking a reliable, high-motor DB who elevates the entire secondary. Why care? Cloud is the DB who turns potential touchdowns into incomplete passes, making him a must-have for teams prioritizing defensive stability.
