Harland Gunn was a highly touted offensive lineman recruit and, by 2011, was described as a cornerstone of Miami’s line with terrific feet, a strong base, and the flexibility to handle guard duty at a high level. He also showed enough athleticism for UM’s pro day to post a 5.25 forty at 319 pounds, which helps explain why he fit as a tough, mobile interior blocker.
