Heath Andrews gives NC State a sturdy, power-built arm with starter upside
In the 2026 season, Heath Andrews was a durable right-hander for NC State, working as a rotation piece who showed flashes of dominance but also battled command consistency, finishing with 64.1 innings, a 6.02 ERA, and 53 strikeouts in 2025 before flashing better form in key 2026 outings. He’s a 6-foot-3, 210-pound, right-right starter whose appeal is the frame, workload tolerance, and ability to miss bats when he’s ahead; the concern is fastball command and run prevention. If your team wants a physical, innings-eating starter with room to sharpen into more, he’s worth the look.
