High-IQ, low-volume linebacker with special-teams grit
DaMarcus Ellis-Dennard arrived at New Mexico State as a 5-foot-11, 185-pound defender from Brophy College Prep and played in six games in the 2021 season, finishing with three total tackles for the Aggies. His profile points to a compact, active linebacker who can bring effort and reliability in limited reps, with early college experience that suggests he understands assignments and can contribute on defense or special teams. If you want a tone-setter who looks more like a dependable role player than a headline-grabber, he fits the mold.
