Madison Carlson is NIU’s dependable, workhorse arm in the circle
In the 2026 season, Madison Carlson emerged as a true staff anchor for Northern Illinois, going 11-2 with 80 strikeouts in 111 innings and earning First Team All-MAC honors plus MAC Pitcher of the Week recognition. She’s a right-handed pitcher who wins with consistency, volume, and poise—she completed multiple games, handled relief duty when needed, and showed real swing-and-miss stuff with a career-best eight strikeouts in a game. If you want a tough, reliable pitcher who can take the ball and keep competing, she looks like a strong fit.
