ECU’s strike-throwing lefty with real MLB juice
In the 2026 season, Ethan Norby was the kind of left-hander pro scouts love: a durable, attack-the-zone starter who paired swing-and-miss stuff with command, finishing the year as a 4th-round MLB Draft pick by the Reds after being named a preseason All-American. ECU credited him with 119 strikeouts in 90.0 innings in 2025, and his reputation was boosted by a 19-strikeout gem in 2025 and a national pitchability profile that plays in big games. He’s not just numbers—he’s competitive, proven, and built for the Friday-night spotlight.
