Pitt LB Adam Gunn: reliable, physical veteran with proven production and comeback grit
Adam Gunn is a proven Pittsburgh linebacker who logged **95 solo tackles, 6 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles** in his Pitt career, giving him the profile of a physical, play-disrupting defender rather than just a volume tackler. He also brings an important differentiator: toughness and resilience, with reporting noting he returned from a neck injury setback and was later recognized as an honorary captain, which speaks to leadership and respect inside the program. For a team, he profiles as a dependable, high-intensity linebacker who can set the tone and handle meaningful defensive snaps.[1][3][7][5]
