Gabe Lombard gives Hawai‘i a steady backcourt option with veteran guard feel
In the 2026 season, Gabe Lombard is a depth guard for Hawai‘i who profiles more as a steadying piece than a volume scorer, with ESPN listing him at 0.3 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 0.0 assists per game on 20.0% shooting. The appeal is fit: he brings guard experience, low-drama minutes, and a team-first profile that can help stabilize possessions even when he isn’t filling the stat sheet. If your team wants a reliable, unflashy connector who understands his role, he’s worth a look.
