Sean Wale remains one of Boise State’s most reliable field-position weapons
Sean Wale’s Boise State profile is built on consistency, hang time, and hidden-value punting rather than flash. In the 2016 season, he averaged 45.0 yards on 50 punts, landed 18 inside the 20, and earned All-Mountain West Second Team honors, while The Athletic noted that his 2016 average ranked seventh in FBS and that he owns three of Boise State’s top punting-average seasons. For a team, that usually translates to a calm, field-flipping specialist with proven big-game value and strong all-around dependability.
