Abigail Long brings sharpshooting pedigree, but is still finding her footing at Yale
In her 2024-25 freshman season at Yale, Abigail Long appeared in 22 games and showed elite free-throw touch (90.0%) while averaging 2.5 points in 8.4 minutes per game, but her field-goal and three-point shooting were both below 23%, so the production is still developing.[1][2] What makes her interesting is the proven high-school scoring résumé: she was a three-year captain, Kansas’s No. 1 ranked shooting guard, and a career record-setter with 1,382 points, suggesting real upside as a confident, perimeter-oriented guard who has already led and carried a program.[5][10]
