Steady, Physical Kansas State Safety with Real Starting Experience
In the 2024 season, Colby McCalister showed up as a reliable Kansas State safety with 24 tackles, and his broader Wildcat résumé includes 50 career tackles, two pass breakups, one sack, and one forced fumble across 26 games. The biggest selling points are his versatility, toughness, and experience in a disciplined Big 12 defense; he’s the kind of safety who brings structure, effort, and enough thump to matter in the box. He also played through a shoulder issue in 2025, which adds a little grit to the profile.
