Eastern Washington’s Lijah Petelo brings length, leverage and blue-collar upside to the interior
Petelo, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound DT from Auburn, entered Eastern Washington as a two-star prospect and early-signing depth piece with real developmental juice. In his 2024 high school season, he posted 18 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and a sack, while earning first-team all-league honors at defensive tackle. What stands out is his frame and versatility: he played on both sides of the line, flashed enough disruption to matter, and looks like a long-term trench project with physical upside. If you want a tough, moldable interior defender, he’s a smart fit.
