Aidan Stieglitz is Elon’s freshman strike-thrower with ace-upside flashes
In the 2026 season, Aidan Stieglitz quickly turned heads for Elon by carrying a perfect game into the eighth inning of a combined no-hitter against Fairfield, finishing that start with 7.2 no-hit innings and 7 strikeouts, then earning CAA Pitcher of the Week honors[2][7]. The 6-foot-3 right-hander has a reputation for poise, competitiveness, and settling in after early trouble—he rebounded from a rough first inning against North Carolina A&T to work five innings and earn the win[5]. If you want a young starter with real bats-missing upside and big-game calm, he’s a strong fit[1][2].
