Yasmin Perez brings veteran ballhandling and pesky defense to Nicholls
Yasmin Perez is a steady guard for the Nicholls Colonels whose game is built on control, defense, and experience, and in the 2025-26 season she has posted 0.4 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 0.0 assists per game with a 20.0% field-goal mark[1]. Her deeper value comes from the kind of guard play that doesn’t always jump off a stat sheet: she’s been a high-intensity, disruptive presence dating back to her prep days, when she was known for elite steal production and playmaking, which makes her a fit if a team wants pressure, grit, and poise over flash[13].
