Iowa Hawkeyes LB with Proven Tackling Pedigree from Drake Transfer
Tanner Pollock, a 6-1, 210-lb linebacker who transferred from Drake to Iowa Hawkeyes ahead of 2023, exploded for 100 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and 2 INTs in the 2022 season at Drake, earning PFL Honor Roll nods—highlighting his sideline-to-sideline speed, ball-hawking instincts, and relentless motor. Despite limited snaps (just 2 games, no stats) in 2023 at Iowa amid depth chart battles, his high school highlights and recruiting buzz mark him as a high-upside depth piece with starter potential; ideal for teams needing gritty, instinctive LBs who thrive in run-heavy schemes.
