Fresno State CB Turned High School Coach, Not Current Player
You should care about Damon Jenkins because he’s a Fresno State football legend who led the 2007 Bulldogs with 3 interceptions as a standout CB, but he is no longer an active college or high school athlete—he’s now a highly respected high school head coach (Kerman Lions, then San Joaquin Memorial) known for his intense leadership and playmaking pedigree. His differentiator isn’t current stats but his proven ability to read quarterbacks, close fast, and instill discipline; however, he’s not a fit for your team as a player since he transitioned to coaching in recent years and officially stepped down from Kerman in late 2025 to join San Joaquin Memorial as head coach.
