Tennessee Tech’s Intense Forward with Elite Rebounding and Unmatched Grit
Wendi Hartsfield-Scott, a forward for Tennessee Tech’s Golden Eaglettes, stands out not just for her 12.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in the 2025 season, but for her relentless intensity and defensive tenacity that elevate the entire team. Unlike many peers, she plays with a rare combination of physical strength and basketball IQ, consistently leading the OVC in second-chance points. Though she missed three games in early 2025 due to a minor ankle sprain, her recovery was swift, and she returned with even greater focus. Teammates describe her as the ‘heart’ of the squad—calm under pressure, fiercely competitive, and always pushing others to improve. For any team seeking a high-effort, high-impact forward who thrives in the paint and elevates team morale, Wendi is an ideal fit.
