Speedy Southern Miss Guard with Untapped Potential
Samirah Ali, a quick and skilled guard for the Southern Miss Lady Eagles, stands out with her excellent ball-handling, solid defense, and high motor that challenges for immediate playing time—ideal for teams needing perimeter speed and hustle without injury concerns. From her 2012-13 freshman roster buzz as a 5-1 dynamo out of Hillcrest HS (IL), she's shown flashes of disruption, though limited recent stats suggest she's a developmental gem for programs valuing intangibles like tenacity over box-score dominance. Watch her for breakout upside in transition-heavy schemes.
